Kateřina Tučková's books have been published in twenty-one languages (Arabic, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Croatian, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Ukrainian), rights have been sold to Taiwan (traditional Chinese) and Finland.

For the novel The Expulsion of Gerta Schnirch / Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch she was awarded the Magnesia Litera 2010 – Readers' award, and shortlisted for Jiří Orten Prize and Josef Škvorecký Prize.

For her novel The Žítková Goddesses / Žítkovské bohyně she became the winner of these prizes: Josef Škvorecký Award 2012, Czech Bestseller Prize 2012, Magnesia Litera – Readers Award 2013 and Czech Book Prize – Readers Award 2013, Premio Salerno Libro d’Europa 2018

In 2022, the State Prize in Literature was awarded to Kateřina Tučková for the novel Bílá Voda.
