This year the juries in all four parts of the Gold Ribbon contest chose from over 240 titles.
Mylene / Mojenka received nominations in both the literary and the artistic sections of the Young Adult Fiction category.
The only award in the Czech Republic exclusively for children's literature, the Gold Ribbon has been in existence for over 25 years. The award is announced by the Czech section of IBBY - the Society of Friends of Books for the Young, while the co-organizers are the Children's Book Illustrators Club, the Czech Translators Guild, the Comenius National Pedagogical Museum and Library, and the Museum of Czech Literature (PNP).
The ceremonial announcement and awards presentation will take place on 23rd May 2023 at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art.
