for her first novel K moři / To the Seaside she was awarded the Jiří Orten Prize (prestigious award for authors under 30), and shortlisted for the Magnesia Litera Prize for prose and the Josef Škvorecký Prize (all in 2008); she has also been awarded two important domestic prizes for her film scripts; in 2009, she was shortlisted for the Josef Škvorecký Prize again, this time for her second book Zmizet / To Disappear; this book was awarded the main Magnesia Litera prize for The Book of the Year 2010; more than 85.000 copies of her books sold in the Czech Rebublice alone

her books published in Slovenia, Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina,  translations are pending in Macedonia, Serbia and Albania too.
