This catalogue of fiction titles presents six new releases. The first is Petra Klabouchová's novel The Spirit of Pankrác / Duch Pankráce, based on real-life memoirs written on death row in the cells of a Prague prison. The author's previous three novels, also based on real-life events of the last century, have surpassed the bestseller mark of 10,000 copies sold.
Successful debuts Augusts / Srpny by Jakub Stanjura and The Shift / Směna by Anna Beata Háblová have been well reviewed and already published in translation in several countries (similarly to Petra Klabouchová's books). Now these two writers in their brand-new novels open up socially urgent topics that are not talked about much in society.
