Jakub Stanjura lives in Prague. He is a graduate in English and Czech from Charles University. His debut novel Augusts / Srpny (2023), which addresses themes of manipulation and gaslighting, has received excellent reviews, sold very well and been adapted for the stage. It was published in German, and the rights have been sold to Latvia, Macedonia, Serbia and Syria.
