Books in translation published in 2020

This spring most areas of human activity were paralysed by the coronavirus, practically worldwide. Regrettably, book publishing, too, has been affected.

Faced with very new challenges, most publishers have adjusted their schedules to today’s reality by postponing dates of publication; in rare cases, a publisher has cancelled a translation for which an agreement was in place.

Many more of our authors’ titles than appear on the up-to-date, continuously updated list below were due to be published abroad this year. But let us sound a note of optimism – this autumn we have a nice number of Czech books in translation to look forward to!
